MAC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week
Dalton Albertin, Ball State – Senior, Indianapolis, Ind. (Lawrence Central High School)
Ball State senior Dalton Albertin went 2-0 at No. 1 singles earning victories over Brown and IUPUI. Albertin took down Michael Riechmann of Brown 7-6 (7-5), 3-6, 10-8 Friday and then helped the Cardinals sweep in-state rival IUPUI Sunday after beating Jason Jaruvang 7-5, 7-6 (7-3) Sunday. Albertin also went 1-1 at the No. 1 doubles position with teammate Patrick Elliott.

Pablo Mora, Western Michigan – Sophomore, Santiago, Chile
Western Michigan sophomore Pablo Mora was a key factor in the Broncos going 3-0 last weekend, as the sophomore from Chile recorded singles wins in all three matches, including two wins in high leverage situations. Mora defeated Nolan Marks of Cleveland State 4-6, 6-1, 6-4 in the No. 5 singles match, tying the match at 2-2; the Broncos went on to win 5-2. Mora played up in his next match, defeating Aquinas College's Nik Artaev 6-1, 6-0 in the No. 3 singles match, part of the Broncos' 6-1 win. He rounded out the weekend with a win over Illinois State's Jacob Wilson, winning 6-4, 6-4 in the No. 6 match; that tied the match at 2-2, after the Redbirds took the first two singles matches. The Broncos won the match 4-3.
