Tomerlin hit a season best time of 18:27 to help lead the Broncos to the top finish among Division I programs at the Michigan Intercollegiates, defeating the likes of Central Michigan, Michigan State, Detroit Mercy and Oakland. She was also the top finisher among Division I student-athletes, finishing in seventh place.

Despite soggy course conditions, senior captain Curtis Vollmar turned in his fourth consecutive top-five finish at the Michigan Intercollegiate, Oct. 9, finishing fifth overall with a time of 25:19. Vollmar led the Eagles to a third place finish as a team.

Lutzke was the top runner for the Chippewas, Lutzke improved his time from his last meet, the Spartan Invite (Sept.18). Finishing with a time of 26:35.8 in the Michigan Intercollegiate hosted by Calvin College.
