Bowling Green, Ohio  - Eastern Michigan claimed its 18th Men's Championship title in school history as MAC teams fought it out at the 2013 MAC Cross Championships in Bowling Green, Ohio.

"Real pleased with the teams effort today," Eastern Michigan's John Goodridge.  "We are real proud of the tradition that exists at Eastern Michigan University and it's a real honor to represent the program and the opportunity to try to add to that tradition.  This is why a lot of athlete come to Eastern, they want to be part of the college conference championship experience. We take a great deal of pride in it and we have no trouble getting these boys motivated to compete at a MAC Championship."

Buffalo's Zach Ahart claimed the men's individual title with a time of 24:47.60. Ahart became the first MAC cross country champion in Buffalo history. "It's Huge [being the 2013 men's individual champion]," Buffalo's Zachary Ahart said. "A year ago I got ninth in the conference and I didn't know I would get this far but it feels good. It has always been a goal of mine, so to finally achieve it feels good.  It would have been nice to do better as a team because that is what we came here to do, but to get it individually feels good."
