Kent State At Akron On Time Warner Cable SportsChannel

Cleveland, Ohio -- This Saturday, Nov. 2nd will feature the fourth regular season football games broadcast as part of the Mid-American Conference regional television package on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel.
The Wagon Wheel is at stake as Kent State (2-7, 1-4) will travel to InfoCision Stadium – Summa Field to face the Akron Zips (2-7, 1-4) at 3:30 pm ET.
The Flashes enter the contest coming off a 41-21 loss to Buffalo.  Freshman quarterback Colin Reardon threw for a career-high 260 yards along with his 11th touchdown of the season, while running back Trayion Durham scored his 22nd career touchdown, tying him for ninth among Kent State’s career leaders.  Senior Dri Archer added another touchdown, upping his career total to 36 touchdowns, which ranks fourth in Kent State football history.
Akron is coming off a 42-24 loss to Ball State last Saturday.  The Zips posted a season-high 226 yards rushing behind junior running back Jawon Chisholm’s 166 yards, including a 65-yard scoring touchdown.  
Kent State at Akron will be telecast live throughout Ohio courtesy of Time Warner Cable SportsChannel, Cox and BCSN2.  ESPN3 will also stream the game, blackout restrictions may apply.

Live games and extensive non-game programming will air on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel and selected programming will be available nationally on Time Warner Cable Video On Demand, additional cable outlets, as well as ESPN3 – ESPN’s live multi-screen sports network available to more than 85 million households on computers, smartphones, tablets, Xbox and Apple TV via WatchESPN through an affiliated Internet or video provider – and the official Mid-American Conference website
As part of the three-year partnership, Time Warner Cable SportsChannel will televise an expanded number of live conference football games, men’s and women’s basketball games, including both conference basketball tournaments, ancillary programming opportunities and additional neutral site conference championship programming in the sports of volleyball, baseball, softball and men’s and women’s soccer.  
MAC programming on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel this academic year will include live regular season football and men’s and women’s basketball games, live men’s and women’s basketball, volleyball, baseball and softball tournament and championship games, preview shows, a signing day special, coaches shows, and other special event programming.  Starting next season, Time Warner Cable SportsChannel will produce weekly magazine, studio and long-form shows around MAC athletics.
