Ball State Jenna Hague (W. Golf)
Jenna Hague (Junior, 3.667, Business-Marketing)
Jenna Hague won The 2013 Preview last week to tie the MAC record for career victories by a women’s golfer. Hague finished the 36-hole event with a 3-over par total of 147 at Hawthorns Golf & Country Club, the site of next spring’s MAC Championships. She won by two strokes in a field of 94 golfers for her second victory of the fall. It was the sixth career victory in just 28 career events for Hague, who matched former Western Michigan golfer Erica Bieniek and former Kent State golfer Martina Gillen for the top spot on the MAC all-time wins list. She also led Ball State to a runner-up team finish at The Preview in a field of 16 teams, eight of which were MAC schools. For her performance, Hague was named the MAC Golfer of the Week for the seventh time in her career. Dating back to last season, she has now finished among the top 10 in six straight tournaments.
