Toledo Wins Institutional Academic Achievement Award

TOLEDO WINS INSTITUTIONAL ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

CLEVELAND, OHIO – The University of Toledo has been named the winner of the 2012-13 Mid-American Conference Institutional Academic Achievement Award.  For the academic year, Toledo posted an overall athletic grade point average (GPA) of 3.20 based on 358 student-athletes in 15 sports.  This marks the second consecutive year that Toledo has won this prestigious honor.
 
The honor is presented annually to the MAC institution which achieves the highest overall institutional GPA for student-athletes competing in institutionally sponsored sports for the academic year.   A list of each top-three school’s 2012-13 GPA follows:
