MID-AMERICAN CONFERENCE ANNOUNCES MEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK

MAC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week
Pablo Mora, Western Michigan – Sophomore, Santiago, Chile
 
Western Michigan sophomore Pablo Mora earned a key singles victories in the Broncos' 4-3 win over #43 Michigan State last week, giving the Broncos a 3-2 lead with a win in the No. 5 singles match.  Mora defeated Harry Jadun 6-3, 6-4 to give the Broncos the lead.  The singles win was the fourth straight for Mora, who improves to 12-4 in singles play.

Frederic Cadieux, Northern Illinois – Sophomore
 
Northern Illinois sophomore Frederic Cadieux was a key member of the Huskies lineup Friday night when Northern Illinois defeated Marquette, 4-3. It was the first time Northern Illinois had defeated the Golden Eagles since 2002. Cadieux finished the weekend 2-0 with wins at No. 3 doubles and singles. With partner Jovan Zeljkovic, Cadieux defeated the Marquette pair of Packowitc and Skly, 8-4, to clinch Northern Illinois first point of the match. In singles, the sophomore grinded out a three set victory over Logon Collins, 4-6, 6-1, 6-2, to tie the match at 3-3. The Huskie is 12-1 this season in singles play and 7-4 in singles.
