Here is a look at each of the MAC football program's special events planned for football signing day on Wednesday, Feb. 6.

 
Akron:
 
Follow Zips Football Signing Day
 
AKRON, Ohio – Second-year University of Akron football head coach Terry Bowden will announce his program's 2013 recruiting class on Wednesday as part of National Signing Day.
 
An open to the public press conference to discuss the team's incoming class will be held at 6 p.m. ET on the Towpath Credit Union Press Level (floor 7) of InfoCision Stadium – Summa Field. The proceedings will be webcast live through GoZips.com, with long-time Akron-IMG Sports Network analyst Joe Dunn serving as host.
 
Starting at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, GoZips.com will play host to a Signing Day Blog. The blog will update as each national letter of intent comes over the fax machine as well as provide a variety of multimedia content and behind-the-scenes look at one of the most important days on the college football calendar.
 
Information about the Zips' signing class will also be available through the Zips Athletics social media network and YouTube page.
 
 
Ball State:
 
Football Signing Day Festivities Set For Feb. 6
 
Ball State's football staff will present its 2013 recruiting class Feb. 6, with a live web stream from the Fisher Complex and a reception at Worthen Arena. 
 
"The coaching staff and I are looking forward to meeting with alumni and friends of the program on signing day," Ball State head coach Pete Lembo says.  "We have been working hard to put together a terrific recruiting class. This day gives our fans some insight into the process as well as the results."
 
Ball State athletics and Ball State Sports Link will provide its National Signing Day Special presented by Kia of Muncie from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  The live online webstream on www.ballstatesports.com will feature Joel Godett, Jeff Weller and Pat Boylan.
 
The live show will include coaches interviews, videos of signed recruits and up-to-minute announcements of the signees.  In addition, feature packages and interviews with coaches of Ball State's other sports and announcements of their signees.
 
The Signing Day Celebration event will feature Lembo and the remainder of the coaching staff as they present their 2013 recruiting class from the Alumni Lounge of Worthen Arena.  Sports Link Radio will air live from this event, which is open to the public.  The Cardinal Varsity Club Cardinal Club Room will open at 5 p.m. and Coach Lembo will begin the presentation of the class at 5:30 p.m.
 
Complimentary soda, coffee, water, popcorn, snacks and ice cream will be available as will a cash bar.
 
Ball State's men's basketball team will tipoff immediately following the Signing Day Celebration at 7 p.m. vs. Ohio.

National Signing Day Events Start Wednesday at 7 a.m.
 
 
Join Bowling Green on Wed., Feb. 6, as we celebrate National Signing Day. Beginning at 7 a.m., BGSUFalcons.com will have a running blog detailing Dave Clawson’s 2013 recruiting class. Videos, photo galleries and player bios will be available throughout the morning as letters of intent come through the fax machine.
 
Starting at 2 p.m., BGSU assistant coaches will sit down for 1-on-1 interviews, previewing the recruiting class. This live show will be streamed for free at BGSUFalcons.com. Following those interviews, Dave Clawson will hold a press conference, beginning at 3 p.m. For those of you not lucky enough to be there, we have you covered. Buffalo to Reveal Football Signing Day Class on Prime Time Television Special
 
BUFFALO, NY – For the first time in school history, the University at Buffalo will host a prime time television special to reveal its 2013 football signing class. "UB Football Signing Day Special" will air live on WBBZ at 8:00 pm on February 6.
 
Host Paul Peck will sit down with head football coach Jeff Quinn to discuss the 2013 recruiting class as well as other news surrounding the Buffalo football team in a 30-minute show.

Chippewa Athletic Fund to Host National Signing Day Event 
 
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – To celebrate the newest members of the Central Michigan University football program, the Chippewa Athletic Fund will host its annual signing day event on Wednesday, February 6.
 
Beginning at 5 p.m., guests will enjoy complimentary heavy appetizers as well as drink specials compliments of O'Kelly's. At 6 p.m., head coach Dan Enos will narrate video footage from each of the Chippewas' latest signees.
 
The event is free of charge but RSVP's are required. To RSVP, please contact the Chippewa Athletic Fund no later than Friday, February 1 by calling (989) 774-6680 or by email at chipclub@cmich.edu.

National Letters of Intent can officially be submitted beginning at 7 a.m. on Feb. 6
 
YPSILANTI, Mich. — February 6, college football's National Signing Day, is fast approaching, and EMUEagles.com will have complete coverage of the newest members of the Eastern Michigan University football program.
 
National Letters of Intent can officially be submitted beginning at 7 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6.
 
During the afternoon Wednesday, EMU Head Coach Ron English will have an exclusive in-depth interview on EMUEagles.com to announce the signing class. The conversation will be available online for on-demand viewing.
 
At that time EMU's official recruiting class press release, which will include biographical sketches on each of the signees along with highlight videos, will also  be available.
 
 
Kent State:
 
Football Signing Day is Wednesday, Feb. 6
 
KentStateSports.com and follow @KentSTFootball and @KSUAthletics on Twitter Wednesday for National Signing Day updates throughout the morning.  National Letters of Intent begin coming through fax machines at 8 a.m.
 
In the late afternoon, video of a press conference with Head Coach Paul Haynes and the entire staff can be seen on GoldenFlashes TV on YouTube and KentStateSports.com.
 
Join the Kent State football coaching staff and athletic department members Wednesday, Feb. 6, for a National Signing Day Party at Quaker Steak & Lube in the basement of the Student Center from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.  A live radio show with football color analyst Rob Polinsky will begin at 6 p.m.  He will be joined by several members of the football staff.
 
Video highlights of incoming players will be displayed as the radio show airs.  Kent State fans can hang out with "Flash," meet the coaching staff and will have a chance to win a game-worn bowl helmet.
 
The radio show can be heard on 640 AM and Golden Flashes Radio on iHeartRadio.  It will be immediately followed by Kent State's men's basketball game at Western Michigan.
 
 
Miami:
 
RedHawk Recruiting Airs Wednesday
 
OXFORD, Ohio - National Letter of Intent signing day is now just eight days away and the anticipation of introducing nearly 50 high school seniors is building to a crescendo. And for the first time, Miami University's fans, friends and family are invited to come and experience one of the most significant days of February's sports schedule in person.
 
Millett Hall's Hall of Fame area will be the site of this year's special event.
 
Nearly 25 talented high school football prospects will officially announce their plans to join Coach Don Treadwell's RedHawk squad and, for the fourth year in a row, Miami's fans can be part of the action by watching RedHawk Recruiting Live! Presented by Miami Savings Bank ONLINE Wednesday, Feb. 6 via Miami All-Access at www.MURedHawks.com.
 
As a member of the studio audience, Miami fans will not only experience the excitement first-hand, they'll have the chance to win a variety of valuable prizes. Prizes including free tickets, a signed Miami football jersey, free weekend golf at Indian Ridge, free tent space for 10 inside Tailgate Town, free parking passes, and free food certificates will be handed out to several fans, both online and in person. The webcast will run for four hours, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. ET and is absolutely free to watch on MURedHawks.com.
 
Also participating that day will be women's track and field coach Kelly Phillips, soccer coach Bobby Kramig and field hockey coach Inako Puzo.
 
RedHawk Recruiting Live will again be hosted by the IMG broadcast trio of Steve Baker, Tim Bray and Terry Bridge.
 
A multi-camera operation will not only introduce fans to the new recruits through video clips, interviews and photos, and they'll be able to get up close and personal with members of Miami's football staff.
 
In 2010, Miami became the first institution to initiate a live NLI Day webcast to its fans. That year's special set MURedHawks.com record for single-day page views and visitors.
 
 
UMass:
 
Fans Invited To UMass Football Signing Day Event On Feb. 6 Head coach Charley Molnar with introduce fans to the 2013 recruiting class.
 
AMHERST, Mass. - UMass fans are invited to join head football coach Charley Molnar and his staff on Wednesday, Feb. 6 at the Amherst Brewing Company as he introduces the 2013 recruiting class. The event will begin at 5 PM with a social gathering before coach Molnar speaks about the talented group of incoming student-athletes. For those wishing to also attend the UMass men's basketball game against Rhode Island at the Mullins Center, a free shuttle service will be provided starting at 6:30 PM.
 
This will mark coach Molnar's second Football Bowl Subdivision recruiting class. The day marks the first in which high school student-athletes can formally sign National Letters of Intent which will be sent to the University throughout the day.
 
UMass has already had seven newcomers enroll for the Spring semester. The group includes three scholarship players in offensive linemen Josh Bruns, Cameron Mock and Sam Zeff.
 
Two members of the group, Montclair High School (N.J.) teammates Nate Crutchfield and Zeff, graduated early for the chance to get a head start in college.
 
Bruns enrolls after transferring from Glendale Community College, while Mock initially signed an National Letter of Intent last February, but was unable to join the program after suffering an injury prior to the season's start.
 
DuVaughn Beckford joins the Minutemen after playing two years at Assumption as a defensive back.
 
Also joining the program are Klysmann Afonso (Medford, Mass.) and Nick Valles (Danvers, Mass.).

Doors to the Convocation Center open at 6 p.m. and a basketball ticket is required for admission. The game tips off at 7 p.m.; Huskie men's basketball tickets are $10 for a reserved, lower bowl seat and $8 for general admission (upper bowl). Youth (8th grade and younger) and senior citizen (62 and older) general admission tickets are just $6. Northern Illinois students can attend any NIU regular season intercollegiate athletics event, including men's and women's basketball, gymnastics and wrestling, free with a valid OneCard. 
 
In addition to free admission to the basketball game and Signing Day Reception on February 6, NIU students will receive a free $10 gift card from Restaurant.com and a NCAA March Madness wristband while supplies last.

Ohio Football to Hold 2013 Signing Day Reception; All fans are invited to this FREE event
 
ATHENS, Ohio - The Ohio University football team and the Bobcat Club invite all fans to get an inside look at the incoming recruiting class at the 2013 Signing Day Reception at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 6. The event will be located on the second floor of the Peden Stadium Tower.
 
Video analysis of all recruits will be provided by Head Coach Frank Solich as well as his assistant coaches to give fans an inside look at the 2013 Recruiting Class.
 
Complimentary drinks and popcorn will also be provided. The reception will wrap up at approximately 7:00 p.m.

Rocket Football Coaches to Host Signing Day on Feb. 6; Event Will Be Streamed Live 
 
TOLEDO OH - The University of Toledo football coaching staff will host a special presentation of its 2013 recruiting class in Savage Arena on Wednesday, Feb. 6 at 4:00 p.m. All Rocket fans are invited to attend free of charge. A concession stand will be open for fans to purchase snacks and beverages.
 
Head Coach Matt Campbell and his assistant coaching staff will announce their 2013 recruiting class and show video highlights of each signee at the event. Feb. 6 is the first day that high school seniors are allowed to sign national letters of intent.
 
The event will be streamed live on UT's official website, www.utrockets.com, beginning at 4:00 p.m.

This Wednesday is National Signing Day and Western Michigan has an all-acces look into all of the action for our fans.
 
The Broncos have created the #RowtheBoat NSD landing page to track all members of 2013 Class.  As each prospect's national letter of intent comes through the fax machine located on the third floor of the Bill Brown Alumni Football Center, fans will see their name, position, Ht/Wt and home town posted along with links to their bio, a highlight video clip and a video clip from their new position coach.
 
We will also be conducting a live chat that begins at 7 a.m. and will run through the conclusion of our live web show at 2 p.m., which will be streamed live on www.wmubroncos.com.  Everything we post on the #RowtheBoat NSD landing page will also be posted on our live chat.  We will also give our fans a chance to ask questions about the signees and ask questions of our new coaching staff.
