Bowling Green (12-6, 3-2 MAC) at Eastern Michigan (4-14, 2-3 MAC)
2 PM • Bowling Green leads 46-14
• Last season, BGSU led the East Division early and often, going 10-0 to begin league play ... the Falcons clinched the divisional crown with a home win over Miami on Feb. 25, 2012, and BG went on to win the regular-season title outright.  Thursday’s loss to Miami ended a streak in which the Falcons had held four consecutive MAC opponents to fewer than 50 points, a school record.
• Head Coach Tory Verdi decided to tweak his starting lineup at Kent State, Jan. 24, and his bench came alive, scoring a season-high 40 points. Bianca Cage scored 19 points to lead the Eagles. Desyree Thomas was the other EMU player in double digits, tallying 12 points. Natachia Watkins padded the statistical categories with nine points, nine rebounds, four steals and two assists.
Miami (12-6, 4-1 MAC) at Kent State (2-16, 0-5 MAC)
2 PM • Ohio leads 29-25
• Miami held the Falcons to 54 points on Thursday. The RedHawks improved to 12-0 in games where they have held their opponents under the 60-point mark. After giving up an average of 71.8, 75.0 and 63.8 points per game the past three seasons, the Red and White are only giving up 57.8 points per game in 2012-13, which ranks 85th among all NCAA Division I teams.
• The Flashes continued to shoot well at the line against Eastern Michigan, making 80% of their shots, although with only 26 total fouls in the game, Kent State only got to the line five times.  They also matched their conference average in offensive rebounds, grabbing 13 and putting in 19 second chance points.
