2 PM • Central Michigan leads 1-0
• Coming off their an upset of No. 21/20 Texas in the consolation contest of the Maggie Dixon Surf N’ Slam Classic in San Diego Sunday afternoon, Central Michigan will play its first game of 2013 Wednesday when it plays host to Marquette at 2 p.m. The Chippewas defeated the Longhorns, 73-65, behind 21 bench points from junior guard Niki DiGuilio to earn their third win versus a ranked opponent under head coach Sue Guevara. CMU is now 1-2 in 2012-13 versus ranked foes. The Golden Eagles are riding a three-game winning streak, but will be playing their first road game in nearly a month.
Bethune-Cookman (5-6, 0-0 MEAC) vs Kent State (1-11, 0-0 MAC)

• The Flashes hope to pick up their second win of the season to head on the road to begin Mid-American Conference play with momentum. Kent State is continuing to improve in different areas of their game after taking some tim to adjust to a new-style offense. Their turnover margin has decreased to -4.2 compared to their opponents, and they are averaging just 2.8 rebounds less per game than the twelve teams they have faced; those are both areas where they struggled early on in the season.
