Bowling Green (7-3, 0-0 A 10) at UMASS (2-8, 0-0 A 10)
5:30 PM • First Meeting
•  Wednesday’s game will be the first half of a college hoops doubleheader at the Mullins Center ... following the women’s game, the UMass men’s team will take on a Mid-American Conference foe, facing Ohio University in a game scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.  BGSU will be looking to reach a program milestone on Wednesday night ... the Falcons are one win away from becoming the first MAC school with 700 overall wins ... BG enters Wednesday’s game with an all-time record of 699-380, good for a winning percentage of 64.8% ... the Falcons have the most wins and highest winning percentage of any MAC program.
 
Eastern Illinois (5-5, 0-0 OVC) at Northern Illinois (3-5, 0-0 MAC)
8 PM • Northern Illinois leads 15-11
•  The Huskies will be looking to take advantage of their solid play at home in the last game before embarking upon a season long five-game road trip. Featuring five games in four states from Dec. 22 - Jan. 10, NIU will travel over 3,100 miles on the trip. NIU is 15-14 at home under Bennett and 15-25 elsewhere.  Both teams come in on different trends: NIU has lost four of its last five and EIU has won three of last its last four. All three wins for EIU were at home and two were in overtime. The lone loss was at Wisconsin as the Panthers have struggled on the road with a winless 0-3 mark this season.
 
Valparaiso (3-6, 0-0 Horizon) at Western Michigan (3-7, 0-0 MAC)
7 PM • Western Michigan leads 6-3
•  After today’s game, Western Michigan only has two more non-conference games left on its schedule, both on the road ... WMU travels to Chicago to face UIC on Dec. 28 and to Philadelphia to take on Temple Jan. 7 ... the Broncos open its 16-game Mid-American Conference slate at home, Thursday, Jan. 10, against Eastern Michigan.  Valparaiso is one of four opponents from the Horizon League ... WMU is 0-2 against the Horizon League thus far, falling to Milwaukee, 88-79, and Detroit, 97-57 ... the Broncos travel to UIC in their next game, Dec. 28.
 
Ohio (4-5, 0-0 MAC) at Manhattan (2-7, 0-0 MAAC)
7 PM • First Meeting
•  Following a 55-48 win at Marshall which was the team’s third consecutive victory, Ohio Women’s Basketball takes to the road once more, playing two games in New York City over a three-day span. The Bobcats will play at Manhattan on Wednesday at 7 p.m. before playing at Long Island - Brooklyn on Friday at 1 p.m.   Manhattan enters Wednesday’s contest the owner of a 2-7 record. The Jaspers have earned victories over VCU and Oakland but have lost six of their last seven games. Most recently, Manhattan fell at Sacred Heart by a final score of 55-38 on Monday night.  The Jaspers are led in scoring by Shayna Ericksen’s 10.2 points per game. She is also the team’s leading rebounder, collecting 7.3 boards per contest. Monica Roeder and Toni-Ann Lawrence have also shouldered a good deal of the offensive load, scoring 9.9 and 9.4 points per game, respectively.
