Updated 12/13/2012

The annual Little Caesars Pizza Bowl Coaches Luncheon, co-sponsored by the Detroit Sports Broadcasters Association, was held on Thursday, December 13, 2012 in the Tiger Club at Comerica Park.  Central Michigan head coach Dan Enos and running back Zurlon Tipton were joined by representatives from Western Kentucky, Little Caesars Pizza Bowl officials and key sponsors.

Central Michigan will play Western Kentucky on Wednesday, Dec. 26 at 7:30 pm ET at Ford Field in Detroit.   This game marks the bowl's eleventh year at Ford Field, after the first five years at the Pontiac Silverdome.  The bowl game will be televised nationally by ESPN.

The Chippewas won four of their last five games, including the final three games, to finish with a 6-6 record and become bowl eligible.  This contest will mark the first bowl game for the program in four years.

Leading the festivities were Little Caesars Pizza Bowl CEO & Excutive Director Ken Hoffman and Little Caesar Enterprises, Inc. President and CEO David Scrivano.

This special event, a part of the Detroit Sports Broadcasters Associations’ December schedule, has become the annual initial introduction of the bowl participants to the Detroit area media.
