East Division Offensive Player of the Week
Faith Robins, Ohio, Sr., OH,

Robins entered the weekend as one of the MAC’s league leaders in hitting percentage and increased that number after hitting .447 in two wins. Robins had a season-high 13 kills against rival Miami, hitting .429 for the Bobcats. She also added six blocks for Ohio. Robins followed that with 10 kills, one shy of the team high, and once again hit over .400 against MAC co-leader Bowling Green on her Senior Night
East Division Defensive Player of the Week

Louisville, Ky./Sacred Heart Academy
Ashy has been a contributor from Day One for the Bobcats, ranking third in the MAC with an average of 5.00 digs per set. This past weekend she notched a match-best 25 digs, her second-highest total in a match this year, in a win over Miami. Then against MAC co-leader BG, Ashy had a match-best for the second time in a row with 14 against the Falcons.
West Division Offensive Player of the Week
Jessica Brown, Western Michigan, Sr., MB, Kentwood, Mich. / East Kentwood
Brown was the key offensive factor in the Broncos’ 2-0 weekend, helping them to sweeps over Central Michigan and Eastern Michigan and keeping the Broncos alone in first place in the MAC West division. Brown recorded the match-high in kills against both the Chippewas and Eagles, notching 12 and 15, respectively, in each three-set affair. She hit .476 against the Chippewas on Friday, committing just two errors on 21 swings, and also contributed a match-high six blocks, as well as five digs. Brown would be even sharper on Saturday against the Eagles, recording her 15 kills on 27 swings with just two errors for a .481 hitting percentage. Brown would add an ace, five digs, and three blocks in the victory. In total, Brown averaged 4.50 kills and 5.42 points per set over the weekend, and helped the Broncos clinch a spot in the 2012 MAC Tournament. The Broncos averaged 15.33 kills/set as a team this past weekend and hit .283.
West Division Defensive Player of the Week
Lena Oliver, Western Michigan, Jr., L, Battle Creek, Mich. / St. Phillip Catholic Central
Oliver was part of a stalwart defensive effort for the Broncos, heping them to a pair of 3-0 sweeps against the Central Michigan Chippewas and the Eastern Michigan Eagles this past weekend. The wins kept the Broncos in sole possession of first place in the MAC West division. Oliver had a match-high 23 digs against Central Michigan on Friday, a total greater than the combined sum of CMU’s top two digs producers in the match. The Broncos held the Chippewas to just a .106 hitting percentage in the match, and out-dug them 53-39. Oliver was similarly impressive on Saturday against the Eagles, recording a match-high 18 digs as the Broncos out-dug the Eagles 66-59. WMU held the Eagles to just a .102 hitting percentage, meaning the Broncos held their weekend’s opponents to a total .104 average over the course of the weekend. Oliver averaged 6.83 digs per set over the weekend.
