MAC Men's Swimmer of the Week
Paul Le, Missouri State University

Le loaded up on the wins against Missouri in the Bears’ first dual meet on Saturday (Oct. 22). Swimming against a squad that finished the 2011-12 season ranked in the Top 25, Le recorded individual victories in the 50 free and 200 back, and was the lead-off man for Missouri State’s first-place 400 free relay.

For the second meet in-a-row, Le was swimming in an outside lane for the 50 free, and again took home the victory (20.78). The backstroke specialist currently has the second fastest 50 free time in the MAC.
The sophomore then swept his individual events by winning the 200 back (1:48.11) in convincing fashion. He leads the MAC by more than 2.5 seconds and ranks 13th nationally in the event. To close out the dual, Le led off the first-place 400 free relay (3:02.24) with a split of 45.92, which is the second-fastest time in the MAC only to teammate Vitalii Baryshok.
