Bobcats Ranked 25th in AP Top 25 Football Poll

The Ohio Bobcats cracked the Associated Press Top 25 Poll and are ranked 25th in the country after receiving 104 votes.  The Bobcats remain undefeated (7-0) after a 34-28 win over Akron.  Ohio remains one of only 12 teams undefeated in college football.

The last time a MAC program was ranked in the Associated Press Top 25 was Northern Illinois at the conclusion of the 2010 regular season (week 14) on Nov. 28, 2010.  Entering the 2010 Marathon MAC Football Championship Game, the Huskies were ranked #24 in the AP Top 25; #25 in the BCS rankings; #23 in USA Today Coaches Rankings and #24 in the ESPN Power Rankings.  Northern Illinois fell to Miami, 26-21, in the 2010 Marathon MAC Football Championship Game.
