Team finished 15th at the at 2012 Nittany Lion Invitational … Angela tied for 15th place at tournament
Now the women’s golfer with the best stroke average in the entire Mid-American Conference (75.88 strokes per round), Angela had a great weekend for the Ohio Women’s Golf Program, tying for 15th place in the field of 103 golfers at the 2012 Nittany Lion Invitational. The freshman carded scores of 73-75-75 to end the tournament with a final tally of 223, a mere seven strokes over par. Codian continues to play beyond her years, leading the Bobcats for the third straight week, this time shooting the best score on her team by 16 strokes. Throughout the entire tournament, Codian had seven birdies and 36 pars.
Alyssa Kwon, Eastern Michigan
Junior, Richmond Hills, Ontario (Richmond Hills)
Kwon again led the way for the Green and White at the Sixth Annual Johnie Imes Invitational, Oct. 1-2, firing rounds of 73, 74 and 77 to finish with an eight-over par 224 and put herself in a tie for 20th place in the individual standings.
Jackie Yanch, Kent State

Windy City Collegiate Classic Oct. 1-2 (Northwestern)
Yanch led Kent State at the Windy City Collegiate Classic, hosted by Northwestern at the prestigious Glen View Club. Yanch, who was at one point tied for fifth and even par through 27 holes, placed in a tie for 34th in a competitive field that included 10 teams ranked in the top 50. Yanch finished above nine of the 28 golfers ranked in the top 100 in the nation, including two top-10 golfers according to Golfstat.
Kaylee Imel, Western Michigan
Senior, Bluffton, Ind. (Norwell)
The Western Michigan golf team finished alone in 10th at the 2012 Nittany Lion Women's Invitational led by Kaylee Imel's tie for 24th.
Imel carded a 54-hole score (226) two shots off her career low (224) en route to finishing as the low Bronco at this year's event. She carded rounds of 77-75-74.
