Four MAC Receivers Added to Biletnikoff Award Watch List

The Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation, the creator and sponsor of the Biletnikoff Award, presented annually to college football's outstanding receiver, today announced the addition of eleven players to the Biletnikoff Award Watch List, including Alonzo Russell (Toledo), Dawan Scott (Miami), Willie Snead (Ball State), Marquelo Suel (Akron).

Russell has played in five games and recorded 25 receptions for 459 yards (18.4 avg.) and two touchdowns.  Russell has helped the Rockets off to a 4-1 record and has a long reception of 66 yards and averages 91.8 receiving yards per game.
 
Scott has totaled 27 catches for 441 yards (16.3 avg.) and four touchdowns in five games.  Scott and the RedHawks have a 3-2 overall record and has a long reception of 58 yards and averages 88.2 receiving yards per contest.
 
Snead has played in all five games and collected 41 receptions for 537 yards (13.1 avg.) and four touchdowns.  Snead is a key part of the Cardinals offense that is off to a 3-2 record.  Snead has a long reception of 34 yards this season and averages 107.4 receiving yards per game.
 
Suel leads the Zips with 40 receptions for 457 yards (11.4 avg.) and four touchdowns.  Suel and the new Akron offense has provided life for the Zips despite a 1-4 start to the season.  Suel has a long reception of 34 yards and averages 91.4 receiving yards per contest.
 
"The Foundation will make further additions as game performances dictate," noted Ritchie Pickron, Foundation Selection Chairman.
