MAC Male Scholar Athlete of the Week: September 17-23
Central Michigan senior quarterback Ryan Radcliff (3.4 GPA, Accounting) turned in one of the best performances of his career, 26-of-35 passes for 283 yards and two touchdowns in the Chippewas' 32-31 come-from-behind upset victory over Iowa at Kinnick Stadium Saturday. Radcliff found sophomore Titus Davis for a 29-yard strike in the second quarter to give the Chippewas a 17-14 lead and later found the sophomore with just 45 seconds remaining in the game to begin the comeback. After a successful onside kick by the Chippewas, Radcliff drove the Chippewas within field goal range by avoiding the rush and scrambling for 9 yards to the Iowa 30 yard line to set up the game-winning field goal.
