Blue Ribbon Analysis
Head Coach: Jeff Quinn (Elmhurst, '84)
2011 Overall/Conference Record: 3-9 (2-6 MAC)
Offense Starters Returning/Lost: 8/3
Defense Starters Returning/Lost: 8/3
The motto for the Bulls this season is "Unfinished business." Two of their 2011 losses came by three points or fewer, and another was a 14-point setback to Big East member Connecticut. Quinn thinks the Bulls are in position to turn those close defeats into wins.

It's going to start on defense, where the Bulls need to find a way to create turnovers. The were 12th in the league last year with 13 forced turnovers.

The schedule is tough again, with Georgia, Pittsburgh and Connecticut standing in the way, though the Bulls get the Panthers at home.

If Buffalo can find a way to win the close ones and continue to improve on offense while shoring up the defense, it can get closer to .500 while continuing to build the program's profile.
