Head Coach: Ron English (California, '90)
2011 Overall/Conference Record: 6-6 (4-4 MAC)
Offense Starters Returning/Lost: 7/4
Defense Starters Returning/Lost: 8/3

In a scheduling twist, the Eagles will get MAC play started right away with a trip to Ball State on August, 30th. The nonleague schedule gets hectic in late September with trips to Purdue and Michigan State in consecutive weeks.

Toledo and Northern Illinois come to Rynearson Stadium, as does Central Michigan. A trip to Western Michigan could have significant ramifications for both teams.

Offensively, the Eagles could be special if a young receiver or two can emerge to give Alex Gillett more downfield options. If new defensive tackles and safeties can adjust and give consistent performances, EMU has enough at end, linebacker and cornerback to put together a quality defense.

The key specialists are back and meomentum is with the Eagles for the first time in a long time. That's why they're talking MAC Championship and no one else is laughint about it.
