Central Michigan Survives In 11-10 Win Over Miami

AVON, Ohio – Central Michigan lives to play another day as the Chippewas defeated the Miami RedHawks, 11-10. Central used two runs in the sixth and eighth inning to mount a three-run comeback to advance to a must-win elimination game for both squads.  

Central Michigan’s Jordan Adams blasted a two-run homerun in the eighth that eventually won it.  On the night Adams went 3-for-6 with four RBI’s.  

Central Michigan’s bullpen had a strong showing in their 5.2 innings, allowing only two runs on five hits over that span.

Central Michigan and Miami will now regroup and faceoff tomorrow at 1 PM, with the winner heading to the championship against Kent State.
