• Toledo continues its run in postseason play with a second-round matchup in the CollegeInsider.com Tournament vs. Robert Morris on Saturday, March 17. Tip-off time is set for 2 p.m. in Savage Arena.The Rockets made a strong late-season push to extend their season by winning seven of eight games before falling to eventual champion Ohio, 65-57, in the MAC Quarterfinals. Over its last 10 games (dating back to Feb. 15), Toledo has a 47.9 FG% and is holding its opponents to a 40.3 FG%. Toledo features a balanced scoring attack with four players scoring in double figures. Sophomore G Rian Pearson leads the way with a 16.4 scoring mark. Joining Pearson in double figures are junior G Curtis Dennis (12.8 ppg) and freshman G Julius Brown (12.0 ppg) with junior G Dominique Buckley (9.9 ppg) and sophomore F Matt Smith (8.7 ppg) just under the double-digit barrier... Robert Morris is making its fourth postseason appearance (NIT in 2008, NCAA in 2009 & 2010) in the last five years. Junior G and first All-NEC honoree Velton Jones leads the Colonials in scoring (16.4 ppg), assists (4.5 apg) and steals (1.9 spg).

• Buffalo will play at Oakland on Wednesday night in the second round of the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament. Buffalo is 20-10 overall and is coming off a 78-61 win at American in the opening round of the CIT on Wednesday night. The Bulls were led by Javon McCrea and Zach Filzen who each scored 18 points. Mitchell Watt added 15 points and nine rebounds. This is Buffalo’s second straight 20-win season and fourth overall - all under current head coach Reggie Witherspoon. Mitchell Watt and Javon McCrea were both named to the All-MAC First Team - marking the first time the Bulls have placed two players on the first team in the same season...Oakland is 18-15 overall and is coming off an 86-69 win over Bowling Green on Wednesday night. The Grizzlies are led by Reggie Hamilton who leads the nation in scoring, averaging 26.1 points per game.
