•Buffalo will host Miami on Saturday afternoon looking to snap a three-game losing skid. Buffalo is 16-9 overall and 9-4 in the MAC and  is coming off an 88-77 loss to Ohio on Wednesday night.  The Bulls were led by Mitchell Watt who had 19 points and seven rebounds. Javon McCrea added 15 points and Titus Robinson chipped in with 14. Buffalo has won five of the last seven meetings with Miami at Alumni Arena, including three straight...Miami is 9-17 overall and 5-8 in the conference and is coming off a 62-60 win over Kent State on Tuesday night.  The RedHawks are led by Julian Mavunga who is averaging 16.8 points and 9.3 rebounds per game - leading the league in both categories.  In the latest NCAA statistical rankings (minimum of 2.5 made per game), freshman guard Brain Sullivan ranks fifth in the nation in 3-point field goal percen tage, knocking down 47.7 percent of his shots from long range. 

Ball State (13-13, 4-9 MAC) at Eastern Michigan (12-16, 7-6 MAC)

•Ball State closes out the road portion of the 2011-12 regular season Saturday afternoon as it travels to Ypsilanti, Mich., for a Mid-American Conference West Division contest against division leader Eastern Michigan. Ball State is averaging 63.7 points per game while allowing 61.1 points per game. Senior forward Jarrod Jones leads the team in scoring at 15.4 points per game and on the glass averageing 8.7 caroms per contes... Eastern Michigan is averaging 53.1 points per game while allowing 58.7 points per game. Darrell Lampley leads the Eagles in scoring at 13.3 points per game and has hit a tema-high 42 three-pointers. Antonio Green is second on the team in scoring at 7.0 points per game and has hit 29 three-pointers

•Kent State makes its first ever visit to the Stroh Center on Saturday with a trip to Bowling Green for a 6 pm contest that can been seen live on SportsTime Ohio.  The Golden Flashes can wrap up one of the top four seeds and guarantee a bye to at least the quarterfinals in the upcoming MAC Tournament.The Golden Flashes are looking to end a two game losing streak and earn a season sweep of the Falcons for a second consecutive year.  In the first meeting this season Kent State outlasted Bowling Green 92-87 in the highest scoring MAC game this season...Bowling Green is coming off a 79-68 loss at Akron on Wednesday.  A’uston Calhoun leads four players in double figures with 13.3 points per game.  The Falcons are 10-3 at home this season having won four straight. The Falcons have had more steals than their opponent in seven straight games and are 11-5 when doing so on the season.

Western Michigan (12-16, 6-7 MAC) at Toledo (14-14, 5-8 MAC)

•Toledo looks to continue its late-season surge on Saturday, Feb. 25 when it hosts Western Michigan. Tip-off time for the contest is set for 7 p.m.The Rockets moved into third place in the MAC’s West Division following Wednesday’s 72-67 triumph over Central Michigan. The victory extended UT’s winning streak to three games and was its fourth win in its last five contests.Toledo trails the defending West champion Broncos by one game and can move into a second-place tie with WMU with a victory on Saturday. Toledo features a balanced scoring attack with three players scoring in double figures. Sophomore G Rian Pearson leads the way with a 16.4 scoring mark... Western Michiganhas four players scoring in double figures led by senior G Demetrius Ward’s 12.0 ppg. Ward knocked down 6-of-9 treys in Wednesday’s 78-61 win over Ball State and helped the Broncos shoot an impressive 61.9 percent (13-of-21) from the perimeter.
