•The Cardinals have dropped four straight games, including a 59-53 loss Saturday against Miami. Senior forward Jarrod Jones leads the team in scoring at 16.8 points per game and on the glass at 8.7 rebounds per game. Jones is shooting 52.5 percent (127-of-242) from the field and 82.2 percent (88-of-107) from long range... The Falcons have posted back-to-back wins over Western Michigan and Northern Illinois. Bowling Green is averaging 67.4 points per game while allowing 63.7 points per game. A’uston Calhoun leads the team in scoring at 13.0 points per game and is second on the glass at 5.8 rebounds per game

• Buffalo is looking to win its seventh straight game.Buffalo is 14-6 overall and 7-2 in the conference and is coming off a 72-65 win at Toledo on Saturday night. The Bulls were led by Titus Robinson who came off the bench to score 14 points. Javon McCrea added 12 points and eight rebounds - all in the second half. Buffalo ranks third in the nation in rebounding (41.6 rpg)...Central Michigan is 7-15 overall and 2-7 in the MAC and is coming off a 68-42 loss at Ohio on Saturday. The Chippewas are led by Trey Zeigler who is averaging 15.8 points and 6.9 rebounds per game.

•The Golden Flashes have won four straight following a 78-73 overtime win over Western Michigan last Saturday. Led by 13.1 points per game from senior forward Justin Greene and 13.0 points per game from junior guard Randal Holt the Golden Flashes are one of only two teams in the league with five players averaging more than nine points per game...Eastern Michigan is coming off back-to-back road losses at Miami and at Akron last week after winning four of its previous five. The Eagles enter Wednesday night with with a one game lead in the West Division over Ball State and Western Michigan. Darrell Lampley leads the team with 13.3 points a contest.

• Toledo entertains MAC East Division foe Ohio on Wednesday, Feb. 8 looking to snap a three-game losing skid. UT’s Rian Pearson has been the hottest player in the MAC over the last two weeks, averaging 25.0 ppg, 9.3 rpg and 1.8 spg with a 50.6 FG% in his last four games. Those stellar performances have earned Pearson the last two MAC West Division Player of the Week accolades... Ohio is 6-3 on the road this season and is shooting 45 percent from the field and 35 percent from three-point range; opponents are shooting 41 and 28 percent respectively. Ohio has three players averaging in double figures with Cooper leading the way at 13.3 points per game. • After a pair of wins last week, Miami tries to extend its streak to three straight when the RedHawks travel to Northern Illinois for an 8 p.m. (ET) game. Miami’s Julian Mavunga averaged 14.5 ppg, 14.5 rpg and 6.5 apg as Miami recorded its first back-to-back wins of the season against West Division leaders Eastern Michigan and at Ball State...The Huskies have lost six straight since a 74-66 win over Central Michigan and are coming off a 65-40 loss at Bowling Green on Saturday. Abdel Nader leads the Huskies in scoring, averaging 10.3 ppg.
