•Buffalo is playing its second straight road game and will close out 2011 with a game at Temple on Wednesday night. The Bulls are coming off a 93-78 loss at BYU on Dec. 20. The Bulls were led by Mitchell Watt who scored 18 points and added eight rebounds. Javon McCrea added 16 points for the Bulls. The Bulls have shot 50 percent or better from the field in each of the last two games, including a season-best 53.8 percent in their last game at BYU. Buffalo has three players ranked in the top 10 in the MAC in scoring. Javon McCrea (16.7) is fifth, Zach Filzen (15.9) is sixth and Mitchell Watt (14.4) is ninth...Temple is 7-3 on the year and is coming off a 77-70 win at Rice on Dec. 19. The Owls are led by Ramone Moore who is averaging 17.5 points and 4.2 rebounds per game.

• BGSU plays its fourth consecutive road game Wednesday at Duquesne. The Falcons are 1-4 on the road, while Duquesne is 4-1 at home. Scott Thomas needs just two points to become the 38th player in school history to reach 1,000 points. When he does that, he will become the first player in program history with 1,000 points, 500 rebounds, 100 three-pointers and 150 steals in a career. On top of that, he also has over 250 career assists...Duquesne is 7-5 on the year, which includes losses to a pair of teams ranked in the top 20 in the country at time of the game. The Dukes are also 1-1 against Mid-American Conference schools this year, defeating Akron 81-76 in the 2K Sports Classic and losing at Western Michigan 85-71. Sean Johnson leads the team in scoring at 15.5 points.
