•Ball State wraps up its short two-game road swing Friday evening as it travels to defending Ohio Valley Conference Tournament champion and 2011 NCAA Tournament particpant Morehead State. The Cardinals are averaging 64.7 points per game while holding opponents to a Mid-American Conference low 56.4 points per game. Senior forward Jarrod Jones leads the Cardinals in scoring at 19.6 points per game while also grabbing a team-high 8.7 rebounds per game. Morehead State enters Friday’s game with a 5-7 overall record and is coming off a 64-45 victory at Binghamton. Terrance Hill leads the way hitting 27-of-64 (42.2%) from long range on his way to a team-high 13.7 points per game

• This will be the seventh meeting between these two teams, with the Broncos holding a 4-2 advantage in the series. However, Oakland has won each of the last two meetings, in 2000 (home) and 2001 (away). Over his last four games, Mike Douglas has averaged 17.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 4.5 assists - all of which lead the Broncos in that time. The Broncos have out-rebounded eight of their 11 opponents this season, and have not been out-rebounded by more than nine boards in any game this year...The Grizzlies were picked to finish second in the Summit League with four first place votes; Reggie Hamilton was a Preseason All-Conference First Team selection

• Ohio Men’s Basketball is home for the holidays and starts a three-game stretch at The Convo which will lead into 2012. The Bobcats (10-1) begin with a contest against North Carolina A&T (4-9) on Friday night. Off to its best start since 1940-41, Ohio ran away from one of the top mid-major programs in the country, Northern Iowa, on Tuesday evening. Ivo Baltic scored a season-high 22 points in a 76-59 victory, the fifth road win of the season for the Bobcats.Ohio has four players averaging double figures with D.J Cooper leading the way at 14.6 points per game. Walter Offutt is second in scoring at 11.1 points per contest. Reggie Keely is averaging a career-best 10.3 points per game and team-high 5.8 rebounds while Ivo Baltic rounds out the quartet with 10.2 points per game after his UNI performance...After winning four in a row to push itself over the .500 mark, North Carolina A&T has dropped six in a row entering the contest with the Bobcats. This is the eighth contest in a nine-game road swing for the Aggies, who lost at Akron on Wednesday, 79-52. Nic Simpson, a 6-3 senior, and Marc Hill, a 5-8 senior, lead the Aggies in scoring at 10.9 and 10.3 points per game respectively.
