DETROIT -- The first college baseball game in the history of Comerica Park will feature one of the nation's oldest rivalries when Central Michigan hosts Michigan State April 20 in the "Clash at Comerica".
The Chippewas and Spartans will square off at the home of the Detroit Tigers at 6:35 p.m.
The 2011 season marks the 100th anniversary of the first meeting between the two programs. The Chippewas lead the all-time series against the Spartans, 62-46, in a series dating back to 1911.
CMU is the defending Mid-American Conference champions after finishing 36-22 overall, 20-7 in conference play. MSU finished 2010 at 34-19, 11-13 in Big Ten play.

All tickets are general admission. $8 for adults, $6 for youths/seniors and $5 for CMU students. Groups of 10 or more will also be able to purchase tickets for $5. Tickets may be purchased from CMU's Ticket Central or the Comerica Park box office.
