MAC Men’s Co-Golfers of the Week

Cam Burke, Eastern Michigan, Junior, Baden, Ontario (Waterloo Secondary)

Event: Boilermaker Invitational    

Score: 217 (68-75-74)   

Finish: T-12th   

Burke led the Eagles with a score of one-over 217 (68-75-74) in a tied for 12th place at the Boilermaker Invitational. The Eagles used a third round score of 292 after shooting a 282 and 299 in rounds one and two. EMU finished in sixth place in the field of 18 at the par-72, 7,465-yard Kampen Course on the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex.


John Hahn, Kent State, Sophomore, Hedson, Ohio (Hudson)

Event: Aggie Invitational 

Score: 69-75 (144)        

Finish: T11       

Hahn made 10 birdies in two rounds of the rain shortened Aggie Invitational this past weekend to earn his seventh top 20 finish of the season.  His performance helped the No. 45 Golden Flashes finish ahead of four high ranked teams.

After opening with an 80 in round one, freshman Drew Preston played even-par golf the final 36 holes(71-73), finishing the Boilermaker Invitational tied for 43rd with a score of 224.
