MAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week
Aleksandar Elezovic, Toledo - Senior, Belgrade, Serbia
Toledo senior Aleksandar Elezovic led the Rockets on their three-match weekend, compiling a 4-2 record including a perfect weekend in doubles at the No. 1 slot with partner Sven Burus. Against Michigan State, the pair helped win the doubles point with a tiebreak 9-8(3) victory over Stratton and Norville. Elezovic also pushed his No. 1 singles match to three sets, but dropped his first match of the season 6-3, 6-7 (10-6) to Denis Bogatov. On Sunday, Elezovic picked up a pair of doubles wins with Burus against IPFW's Sigaud/Romer (8-4) and No. 26 Notre Dame's Fitzgerald/Talmadge (8-6), the Rockets' lone victory in the latter. Elezovic also added a 6-1, 6-2 singles nod over Sigaud, and once again stretched his opponent to three sets against the Irish, dropping a close 5-7, 6-1, 10-8 decision against ITA No. 104 Casey Watt. Elezovic currently leads the Rockets with a 5-2 overall singles record, and along with Burus is 7-2 at No. 1 doubles.

Ball State junior Cliff Morrison helped the Cardinals earn a 7-0 victory over Detroit Mercy Saturday after winning at No. 1 single in two sets and at the No. 1 doubles position by a score of 8-0. Morrison has remains undefeated on the season (3-0) in singles play for Ball State.
