MEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Tim Bradshaw, Western Michigan
Senior - Bromsgove, England/St. Augustine
Bradshaw knocked off one of the best players in the country on Friday when he defeated Wisconsin’s Nolan Polley, the No. 100 player in the country, 6-4, 2-6, 6-4 at No. 1 singles for the Broncos. He teamed with Kevin Hayward at No. 3 doubles in an 8-7 (7-3) loss to the Badgers. Wisconsin is ranked No. 50 in the nation.

Joe Epkey - Ball State
Greenwood, Ind./Center Grove HS
Epkey alongside teammate Jose Perdomo upset No. 34 Kentucky’s doubles tandem of Bruno Agostine and Kenny Hodge by a score of 8-5 in No. 1 doubles. Epkey went on to play Peter Bjork in No. 1 singles but dropped the match in three sets after losing the tie breaker 7-5.
Nikesh Singh Panthlia - Buffalo
George Town, Malaysia/BMK Penang Free School
Singh Panthlia ran his unbeaten streak to eight matches with two singles and two doubles wins on Saturday in UB’s matches against Binghamton and Bucknell. Panthlia combined with Octavian Stane to form the number three doubles team that won both matches and helped the Bulls clinch the doubles point. Playing second singles he won both his matches in three sets. Against Binghamton’s Pierre Clavel he rallied from a first set loss to win 3-6, 6-2, 6-1. Against Bucknell’s Jonathan Brenner, he again dropped the first set, but came back to win the match, 6-7 (3), 6-1, 6-2.
Jared Miller - Toledo
Sophomore - Parkersburg, W.Va./Parkersburg HS
Miller won at No. 1 singles against Purdue, 2-6, 6-4, 10-5 and won at No. 2 doubles the same day 8-6.
