Buffalo's Kate Kohout named MAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week:

Kate was UB's top finisher at the Cornell Reif Memorial Invitational. Kohout finished 10th overall out of 40 runners with a time of 19:12, tying her season-best 5K mark set at the Toledo Invitational on September 16.

Angela finished with the best time for her team (19:25.00) and finished tied for 13th place out of 38 runners in the 5k on Friday at the EMU Fall Classic.

Rachel Zubricky

Rachel Zubricky battled through the cold and muddy conditions at the Kent State Short Course to earn a fifth-place finish in the women¹s 3K run over the weekend. The senior leader for the Zips clocked in a time of 11:04 and was the top Mid-American Conference finisher in the race. Her efforts helped Akron to a second-place team finish in the four-team race, trailing West Virginia, which placed runners in spots one through four.

 Kent State did compete but did not submit any nominations.
Toledo did compete but did not submit any nominations.
Ball State, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Miami, Northern Illinois, Ohio and Western Michigan were idle this week.
