Darren Mattocks continued his impressive freshman campaign with a pair of game-winning goals to lead the No. 1 Zips to a 5-0 win at Oakland and a 1-0 victory at Northern Illinois last week. In all, the Jamaican striker scored three times in the two games with his first multiple-goal performance in the Zips' rout of the Golden Grizzlies. Mattocks then scored the match's only goal in the 16th minute against the Huskies to keep UA perfect (3-0) in MAC play and unbeaten (9-0-1) overall. Of his nine shots last week, four were on frame.

Unwin earned an assist on Juha Kaartoluoma's goal in UB's match at Cleveland State and scored a breakaway goal in the final minutes against the Vikings as the Bulls returned to the win column with a 2-0 victory. Unwin leads the team with 3 assists and 9 points and is tied with Kaartoluoma for the team lead with 3 goals.
