Buffalo Colin Patrican (swimming & diving)
Colin Patrican (Jr., 3.524, psychology) broke the men's one-meter diving record with a six-dive total of 346.42 as the Bulls defeated Binghamton, 145-87, to remain undefeated for the season. Patrican's total eclipsed Mike McDowell's performance of 344.79 set in 2008. Patrican also scored a season-best 362.48 points on the three-meter board as an exhibition entrant.
The MAC Scholar Athlete of the Week honor is presented to a MAC male and female student-athlete who has a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better and performs well during the week's competition. The winners are selected by a group of the conference's faculty athletic representatives.
