At the Jesse Owens Classic Beat the NCAA regional qualifying standard and set a new lifetime personal best record in winning the 800: 2:06.78. She won the 800 for the second time this season and has now beaten the NCAA qualifying time three times this season.

Senior - Waterport, NY/Lyndonville
Set two personal bests with her victories in the long jump and triple jump at the Cornell Outdoor Invitational. Hill broke her own school record to win the long jump at 20-3 (6.17m), earning an NCAA regional qualifying mark and posting the top leap in the Mid-American Conference this season. She also won the triple jump at 41-2.25 (12.55m), earning a regional qualification in the event.

Sophomore - Mantua, Ohio / Crestwood HS
At the Ohio State's 24th annual Jesse Owens Classic, she placed second in the 3,000 meter steeplechase with a time of 10:31.81, but defeated six others that posted NCAA Regional times, including Miami's Amanda Mirochna and UA teammate Danielle Sidell. Schenck shattered the UA record in the event with a time of 10:31.81. The time was 19 seconds better than her previous-best, established two weeks ago at the All-Ohio Championships, and nearly 15 seconds better than the previous UA record of 10:45.01, set by Morgan Sulzener in March of 2006

At the Pacesetter Invitational Williams posted an NCAA Qualifying mark in the 100m at 11.73, finishing second. She also competed in the 100m hurdles - 1st - 13.84; and 4x100 relay - 2nd - 46.33.
Kara Butler ? Bowling Green
Senior ? Okemos, Mich./Okemos
Kara Butler blitzed the field at the Toledo Invitational, capturing first in the 3,000 meters by 16 seconds, running in a time of 10:16.27.
Kara Black ? Buffalo
Senior - Grand Island, NY/Grand Island
Black swept the women’s sprint competitions with victories in the 100-meter dash in 12.54 and the 200-meter dash in a season-best 24.58. Black also ran the opening leg of UB’s victorious 4x400-meter relay with Jackie Burns, Anna Holmes and Allison Grimes in 3:58.55.
Cara Dukes ? Central Michigan
Junior - Highland, Mich./Milford HS
Ran a solid 55.45 to finish eighth (fifth among attached collegiate runners) in a competitive 400m at the Jesse Owens Classic. 55.45 mark is a new career best and currently ranks second among MAC competitors
Beverly Elcock ? Eastern Michigan
Sophomore Ft. Wayne, Ind.-Northrow
Elcock continued to shine this season for the Eagles, setting a career-best time in the 1,500 at the Jack Shaw dual against Western Michigan. She won the event with a time of 4:38.97.
Kelley Miller ? Miami
Sophomore - Dublin, Ohio/Dublin Coffman
Set meet and track records in the mile run at the Jesse Owens Track Classic as her time of 4:54.78 topped Laura Piper's effort of 4:55.04 in 2005. Also competed in the 1500 -- 7th (4:31.51).
Jenielle Hunt ? Ohio
Junior - Pittsburgh, Pa./North Hills
Ohio junior Jenielle Hunt earned one of six top-10 finishes for the Bobcats at the Jesse Owens Classic, placing 10th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a personal-best time of 11:01.61, just two seconds off the school record.
Jennifer Sabra ? Western Michigan
Senior - Taylor, Mich./Kennedy HS
Won three events last weekend, competing in 400m dash - 1st - 55.60; 100m hurdles - 1st - 14.53; 4x100m relay - 1st - 46.52. Sabra set a season best in her win in the 100m hurdles and ran a leg for the first place 4x100m relay to help WMU to its fourth straight Jack Shaw Invitational championship.

Sophomore - Bucharest, Romania / Mircea Eliade
At OSU's 24th annual Jesse Owens Classic, she placed third in the high jump (5-8.75), but was the top collegian to place. Two competitors from team Nike placed 1-2. Bocicor cleared a personal record and her first NCAA Regional height. Defeated CMU's Erica Schroll, who also cleared an NCAA Regional height.
Whitney Hartman ? Bowling Green
Senior - Bowling Green, Ohio/Eastwood
Hartman would place first in both the discus and hammer events. Throwing 46.16 meters in the discus and 57.66 meters in the hammer throw. She also finished second in the shot put helping the Falcons at the Toledo Invitational.
Erika Schroll - Central Michigan
Junior - Union, Mich./Three Rivers HS
Tied for third place and first among collegiate performers in the high jump ( 5-8 3/4) at the Jesse Owens Classic over the weekend ... current height of 5-8 3/4 is the top mark in the conference.
Rosie White _ Eastern Michigan
Freshman New Albany, Ohio-New Albany
White had a career day at the Jack Shaw dual against Western Michigan. She won the long jump with a mark of 19-04.25 that ranks fourth in the conference.
Kim Hamilton ? Kent State
Senior - Cave Junction, Ore./Illinois Valley
At the Jesse Owens Classic, she surpassed the NCAA regional qualifying mark, winning the Javelin: 47.19 meters. Has won the javelin three times this season and has passed the NCAA regional standard in all four meets she has competed in. She is in her first season competing in track & field after a standout career on the KSU softball team.
Brittney Bernardoni ? Miami
Junior - Batavia, Ill./Batavia
In the Pole Vault -- 5th (3.55m/11-07.75) at the Jesse Owens Track Classic -- Purdue, Indiana, Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, Akron. She matched the team season-best in the pole vault... it marked the third time this season that she has topped 11 feet.
Sarah Morris ? Western Michigan
Sophomore - Mt. Pleasant, Mich./Mt. Pleasant HS
Won the discus (160-08) and was sixth in the Hammer (134-02) at the Jack Shaw Invitational. Morris set a new personal best by throwing 11 feet further than her old personal best in the discus and helped WMU to its fourth straight Jack Shaw Invitational title.
