Cooper’s throw of 178-feet demolished her old personal-best by over 20 feet and punched her ticket to the NCAA Regional Championships at Fayetteville, Ark. She finished first in the event at the Alabama Relays.

Coney set a personal-best mark in the 100HH in 14.38, placing 12th overall out of over 75 women. She also ran the lead-off leg of the 4x200-meter relay that placed fifth overall at the Raleigh Relays.
