Branson Creek Invitational
Jeff Dick won his first collegiate tournament at the two-day 54-hole Branson Creek Invitational at the par 71, 6,942-yard Branson Creek Golf Club in Hollister, Mo. Dick entered the final day in first and stayed there by shooting a two-over 73 in the final 18 holes to easily win the title by five strokes, posting a 210 total score (68 | 69 | 73 | -3), including a season-low first round 68, as he was the only player in the field to finish under par.

Eric Steger tied for seventh in the 96-player field at the Adidas Hoosier Invitational April 3-4 at the IU Golf Course in Bloomington, Ind. Steger managed a first round 68, which was the second lowest first round of the tournament. The 68 marked Steger's sixth round in the 60's this year. The seventh place finish marked his fourth top-10 showing of the season. Steger helped the Cardinals to a second place showing in the 19-team event.

Diet Pepsi Shocker Classic
Matt Schneider finished in a tie for eighth at the Diet Pepsi Shocker Classic with a 54-hole score of 222. The senior opened with a 72-76 and added a 74 in round three. It was his second straight top-10 performance.

Facing an 18-team field that included eight of the nation's top 30 programs, junior John Hahn led Kent State with a 24th place finish. Hahn carded a three-under, 213 (75-65-73) for the 54-hole tournament. His second round 65 equaled the second lowest round by the 93-man field for the tournament and was the lowest round by a Kent State golfer since Ryan Yip shot a 63 at the 2005 MAC Championship.

Was the top MAC finisher at the tournament. His 68 in the first round was his second lowest score of the season and put him in a tie for third early in the tournament. He finished at one under par for the event.

Irish Creek Collegiate
Senior Jerel Whiting posted the best finish of his career at UT, tying for seventh place with a one-over par 214 (71-69-74). Whiting's performance helped Toledo finish sixth in the Irish Creek Collegiate and his two-under par 69 marked his best round of the season.
