MAC Women’s Golfer Of The Week

Clelland led the Rockets to 25-stroke victory in first spring tournament by sharing medalist honors at Baja Invitational in Ensenada, Mexico. Clelland posted a 14-over par 230 (80-74-76) to give her the third individual title of her Rocket career. Clelland leads the Rockets this season with a 76.4 stroke average.

Fortin fired a 14-over-par 230 (76-74-80) to finish tied atop the leader board with the University of Toledo’s Tammy Clelland here at the Baja Invitational at the Baja Golf Resorts, Feb. 12-13. Fortin’s finish marked her second-career victory and sixth career top five showing. For the year, Fortin is averaging for fourth lowest per round stroke average in the MAC at 75.93.

Bailey rebounded from an opening-round 89 and finished with consecutive sub-80 rounds of 74 and 79 to finish in a 15th-place tie of 242 (+26) at the Baja Invitational in Ensenada, Mexico
