MID-AMERICAN CONFERENCE ANNOUNCES 2010 ACADEMIC ALL-MAC WRESTLING TEAM
10 Student-Athletes are honored in voting by conference Faculty Athletic Representatives

Cleveland, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference announced its 2010 Academic All-MAC Wrestling team today, as voted by faculty athletic representatives at MAC institutions. A total of 10 student-athletes were named to the team.
Chris Jenkins (2007, 2009, 2010), a senior from Eastern Michigan, and Seth Morton (2008, 2009, 2010), a senior from Ohio, are both three time Academic All-MAC honorees. Two-time selections include sophomore Kevin Smith (2009, 2010) of Buffalo and junior Ross Tice (2009, 2010) of Kent State.
First time honorees include: John-Martin Cannon, Buffalo; Donnie Corby, Central Michigan; Aaron Sulzer, Eastern Michigan; Mallie Shuster, Kent State; Vince Castillo, Northern Illinois; and Patrick McLemore, Northern Illinois.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport. First-year students and junior college transfers in their first year of residence are not eligible for the award. Outstanding academic and athletic accomplishments for the current season are only considered.
