Western Michigan senior Casey Cullen reached a special milestone in Western Michigan program history last week in going 5-0 overall, 3-0 in doubles play, as the Broncos defeated Ferris State (6-1), Midwest Region opponent IPFW (7-0), and MAC opponent Buffalo (7-0) at home.  Cullen moved into second place on Western Michigan's career doubles wins list with 105 wins in doubles play; he needs just four more wins to become the school's career leader in the category.  In singles play, Cullen now has 179 career wins, and needs just two more to enter the top-10 on Western Michigan's career wins list.

Against Ferris State on March 22, Cullen teamed with Zeyad Montasser to win the No. 2 doubles match 8-2; later that evening, Cullen combined with regular doubles partner Pablo Olivarez to win the No. 3 doubles match against Midwest region opponent IPFW by a score of 8-3.  Cullen would also win the No. 3 singles match against IPFW, going 6-1, 6-0 in producing the fastest singles result of the match.  Against Buffalo on March 25, Cullen started the day by teaming with Olivarez to defeat the Bulls' Vusa Hove & Alex Kalinin 8-3 in the No. 3 doubles match.  He would then go on to take the No. 5 singles match against Jason Simon by a score of 6-0, 6-2.

The Broncos have now won four straight matches dating back to March 5, and have not lost a MAC match since a 4-3 loss to Ball State on April 10, 2010, a span of six matches.  Overall this season, the Broncos are 10-8, 1-0 in MAC play.  Cullen is 22-8 in singles play and 19-7 in doubles play for an overall record of 41-15.
