Carly Harter, Toledo
Sophomore, North Huntington, Pa. (Norwin)
Harter had an impressive weekend for the Rockets, winning all six of her individual races in Toledo's rout of rival Bowling Green and close loss to Miami. Against Bowling Green, Harter took first in the 50 Free (24.11), 100 Free (52.13) and 200 Free (1:51.51), while also teaming with Johnson, Atchison and Thompson to take first in the 200 Free Relay (1:37.11) in the final event of the meet. At Miami, Harter once again swept her events, taking first in the 100 Free (52.01), 200 Free (1:50.61) and 200 IM (2:04.78), while taking second as part of the 400 Medley Relay team (3:47.85).

Junior, Homewood, Ill. (Homewood-Flossmoor)
Ball State junior Christina Riordan turned in a career-best effort last Saturday at Buffalo, winning the three-meter diving competition with a school-record six-dive score of 312.00. The effort, which is the third-best in the three-meter event in the MAC this season, is also an NCAA Zone Diving Qualifying mark. Riordan also posted a second-place finish on the one-meter board at Buffalo, posting a score of 241.87.

Alexa Harris, Bowling Green

Alexa won 200 and got 2nd in 100 backstroke against Cleveland State on Jan. 26, she won 100 back on Jan 28 and got 2nd in 200 back vs. Toledo. Times: Jan. 26: 58.73, 200 back 2:06.57 Jan. 28: 58.36, 200 back 2:04.45

Jordan Deren, Buffalo
Senior, Lackawanna, N.Y. (Nardin Academy)
Distance freestyler Jordan Deren won two races on Friday and a pair on Saturday in leading the Bulls to their wins at Alumni Arena Natatorium. Against Akron, she took first place in the 200-yard freestyle, setting a season-best, with her finish of 1:54.17. She also scored a victory in the 500-yard freestyle in 5:08.17. Deren followed that with two more individual wins on Saturday against Ball State. She turned in a season-best time to win the 1,650-yard freestyle in 17:32.40 and followed with a win in the 500-yard freestyle in 5:08.12. Deren was also a member of UB's 200-yard freestyle relay team against Akron, which finished first in 1:38.07 as the Bulls exhibitioned the race.

Lesley Vizurraga, Eastern Michigan
Senior, Grand Rapids, Mich. (Forest Hills Central)
Vizurraga helped the Eagles in their non-conference victory over visiting Xavier University this past Friday, Jan. 28 with two solid performances on the boards. On the three meter, she tallied an NCAA consideration mark of 333.83 points which was not only the best score in the event, but also set the top mark in the Mid-American Conference. In the one meter dive, she totaled 304.26 points for the Green and White. Her performance is also the fifth best in the MAC.

Rachel Heim, Ohio
Senior, San Diego, Calif. (Horizon)
The senior from San Diego, Calif. led her team to its seventh-straight win last weekend, claiming impressive victories over Duquesne and West Virginia. Heim performed exceptionally well in both meets, finishing first in the 50 Butterfly against Duquesne, as well as the 100 Butterly against West Virginia with times of 25.64 and 55.77, respectively. Her leadership was made especially evident in the relay events as she helped the Bobcats take first in both the 200 Medley and Freestyle Relays. Currently, Heim holds the best individual MAC times both in the 100 Freestyle with a 50.29, as well as the 100 Butterfly with a 53.98. She also ranks second in the 100 Back with a time of 55.24.
