Fisher led the Rockets to a 16th-place showing Saturday at the 37-team Pre-Nationals Invitational (Blue Race), as she finished 37th overall out of 249 runners. She finished nearly 25 seconds ahead of the nearest MAC individual as Toledo recorded the third-best performance in program history at the meet.

Hilditch became the third KSU cross country runner to win an individual race this season. Kent State won its fourth meet in four races this season.

Arcip led the Zips with a time of 21.47 crossing the finish line 66th of the 247 competitors. This was Arcip's second time pacing the Zips this season, the other coming at the Buffalo Stampede on September 19. On the heels of Arcip's performance, Akron finished 25 of 37 teams in the White race.

McCoy turned in his best time of the season (24.57) on an 8K course to pace the Zips with a seventh place finish overall. McCoy has led the Zips with a top ten finish in each meet this season, including a first place finish at the Buffalo Stampede.

In the Cardinals first 6K event of the season, Bishel led the team with a fifth-place finish at the Sam Bell Invitational. Bishel topped several runners from Indiana and Purdue, as well as the entier Houston and IPFW squads.

True freshman and top runner Courtney Calka was the lone Eagle harrier to place in the top 100 at the Pre-Nationals Invitational, Oct. 17, as she placed 68th overall with a time of 21:47.5.

Lizarribar, after a pair of runner-up finishes, won her first collegiate meet by more than eight seconds Saturday at the Falcon Invite. The women's team finished second for the second consecutive meet.

Mirochna was Miami's top finisher for the second time this year, running to a 73rd-place finish at the Pre-Nationals Invitational (Blue Race) Saturday in 21:52.9. Mirochna improved her placing 13 spots from last year's race and ran her top 6K time of the year. She led Miami to 20th place in the 37-team field that featured seven nationally ranked teams and 249 individual competitors.

Perry was Miami's second finisher Saturday at the Pre-Nationals Invitational (Blue Race) in 99th place, finishing just three seconds behind Miami's first finisher. Perry improved his time from last year's race by five seconds and his finish was 48 places higher than a year ago. His time of 25:09.8 Saturday was his top 8K time this season. The race featured eight nationally ranked teams and 238 individual runners.

Oldenburg led Northern Illinois for the fifth-straight comeptition this weekend as the Huskies competed in at the Neubauer Inviational at UW-LaCrosse. Oldenburg recorded a season-best time of 22:30.8 in the six-kilometer race. Oldenburg's time placed her 19th out of 448 total racers.

Kipchumba has been the top finisher for the Rockets in each race this fall and again led Toledo at the Pre-Nationals Invitational on Saturday.
