Won the Bearcat Invitational for his first career collegiate tournament title. Improved his score in each round to finish at six under par and win the event by seven shots. Only player to shoot under par for the tournament. Helped lead Miami to team tournament title in event, as his 67 in final round helped RedHawks overcome a four shot deficit despite the rest of the team struggling during the round. Now averaging team best 72.33 shots per round through 12 rounds this season.

Mason fired off a 7-over 223 over three rounds this week at the 2009 Firestone Invitational. The Zips first home tournament since 2007, Mason carded a consistent 74-75-75 at the world renowned Firestone Country Club North Course. Mason led the Zips who placed seventh in the 11 team event.
Drew Preston, Bowling Green, Sophomore, Ada, Mich. (Forest Hills)
74-69-77 (220) -- 5th
Preston's 5th place finish allowed the Bowling Green Falcons to finish 6th at the Bearcat Invitational. Preston earned the third most birdies of anyone at the tournament, and his 5th place finish is his second top-5 and third top-15 in the four tournaments Bowling Green has played this season.
Marty Jeppesen, Eastern Michigan, Senior, Saline, Mich. (Saline)
212 (69-71-72) -- 2nd
Jeppesen's carded a final round 72 for a cumulate mark of four-under 212 (69-71-72), good for second place behind Western Carolina Universiy's Ricky Stout's 211 (69-70-72). The runner-up showing is the Saline, Mich. native's best showing of his career and is a 54-hole record for Jeppesen. His previous career-low for a three-round tournament was a 214 at the Wolverine Invitational, Sept. 20-21, 2008.

75-70-74 (219) T-5th
Hubert Trahan keyed the Rockets' sixth-place showing in the Firestone Invitatioal by registering his first Top 10 finish of the season Trahan carded a three-over par 219 (75-70-74) to tie for fifth place.
