Auburn Tiger Classic -- Auburn's No. 13-ranked women's team. No. 12 Minnesota, No. 13 Auburn and No. 17 South Carolina ... 3000-Meter Steeplechase (2nd -- 10:43.26) ... Became the first RedHawk woman to earn a Mideast Regional bid this season... it was just her second career race in the steeplechase as she added the event this year.

Kim Hamilton ? Kent State
Senior - Cave Junction, Oregon/Illinois Valley
Hamilton, competing in her first collegiate track meet after starring for the Golden Flashes’ softball team for four years, won the women’s javelin with an NCAA Regional Qualifying mark of 164’-11” at the Duke Invitational on Saturday (4/4). That mark currently ranks first in the Mid-American Conference and seventh in the nation. Hamilton’s toss also ranks fifth on the Kent State all-time list. Hamilton beat the second place finisher by 24 feet.

Junior - Evansville, Ind./Harrison H.S.
Johnson was involved in two of the Cardinals three event victories on the day, winning the 100m Hurdles and running the second leg of the first-place 4x100 Relay team. She also ran the first leg of the second-place 4x400 Relay. 100m Hurdles, 1st, 14.08; 4x100m Relay, 1st, 46.59; 4x400 Relay, 2nd, 3:51.10. BSU competed at the Mike Poehlein Invitational, 12 teams Including Louisville, Purdue and Northern Illinois.
Kara Butler ? Bowling Green
Senior - Okemos, MI/Okemos
Kara Butler finished first at the Detroit Titan Classic in the 3,000 meters with a time of 10:29.30 and in the process established a new stadium record by over two seconds.
Mary Veith - Buffalo
Senior - Derby, NY/Lake Shore
In her first 5,000-meter competition of the season, Veith bettered her top performance from the 2008 season by nearly 20 seconds. 5,000m; 2nd; 17:47.78; DMR; 10th; 12:11.16 at the Colonial Relays [23 teams]. UB record in the Distance Medley Relay. Finished 2nd in 5,000-meters to Iona's Ashling Baker, an all-region and all-conference performer in cross country.
Danielle Dakroub ? Central Michigan
Sophomore - Okemos, Mich./Okemos HS
Won the 800m with a time of 2:16.19 in a tri-meet against Eastern Michigan and Western Michigan ... also ran a leg in the 4x400m relay that took second with a time of 4:01.01.
Beverly Elcock ? Eastern Michigan
Sophomore - Ft. Wayne, Ind.-Northrop
Elcock won the 1,500 meters in a time of 4:46.59 at the CMU/WMU tri-meet, and came back to run the open 400-meter dash with a time of 58.87. Also was a member of the 4x400-meter team that won with a time of 3:52.25.
Victoria Chatman ? Western Michigan
Sophomore - Taylor, Mich./Taylor Kennedy HS
400m - 1st place - 55.90 200m - 1st place - 25.15 4x100 - 2nd place - 47.72 ... Chatman helped WMU to its third straight Compass Classic win over Eastern Michigan and Central Michigan.

Senior - Somerset, Ohio (Sheridan HS)
82nd Annual Clyde Littefield Texas Relays, annually one of the top meets in the nation, Won the hammer with a throw of 208-11, placed sixth in the discus with a season-best 168-00. Her winning throw in the hammer was an NCAA Regional qualifier. Had she not thrown 215-0 the previous week, which is second nationally, Large would still rank SECOND in the NCAA with this week's effort. Also, she defeated a field that featured nine NCAA Regional qualifiers and she beat second place by over seven feet. While she did "only" place sixth in the discus, the top eight finishers all posted NCAA Regional marks. While she won the discus last week, her distance this week (168-11) was a better throw by eight feet.
TaKarra Dunning ? Bowling Green
Senior - Kalamazoo, MI/Central
TaKarra Dunning finished first at the Detroit Titan Classic in the shot put with a mark of 15.03 metters and in the process set an NCAA Regional qualifying mark.
Fatimah Hill ? Buffalo
Senior - Waterport, NY/Lyndonville
Hill's jumps at the Colonial Relays [23 teams] improved on her top efforts of the season. She currently leads the MAC in both the triple and long jumps. Triple jump; 12.20m; 1st; Long jump; 5.86m; 2nd.
Erika Schroll ? Central Michigan
Junior - Union, Mich./Three Rivers HS
Cleared an outdoor-best 5-8 3/4 to win the high jump by 8 1/4 inches in a scored meet against Western Michigan and Eastern Michigan ... high jump mark leads the MAC so far ... took third in the javelin throw with a mark of 125-9.
Jennene Anthony ? Northern Illinois
Senior - East St. Louis, Ill./East St. Louis
Anthony placed second in the javelin and fourth in the discus against a nationally competitive field at the Mike Poehlein Invitational, Saturday. Anthony used a 133-4 throw in the javelin to finish as the event's runner-up and took fourth in the discus with a 147-4, competing with a group that included No. 24 Louisville, Notre Dame, Purdue, DePaul and conference opponent Ball State.

Junior - Toledo, Ohio/Sylvania Southview
Green & White Invitational - 3 teams ... Shot Put: 1st - 50-1.75 Discus: 1st - 151-3 ... Allen's throw of 15.28m in the shot put eclipsed the NCAA Regional qualifying mark of 14.30m.
Sarah Morris ? Western Michigan
Sophomore - Mount Pleasant, Mich./Mount Pleasant HS
Discus - 1st place - 147-08 at the Compass Classic ... Morris just nearly missed out on setting a new personal best with her win in the discus throw. Her distance of 147-08 was over 10 feet further than teammate Linsay Bloor's, who finished in second with 136-01.
