MAC Awards Swimmer of the Week

Chris Heaton ? Miami

Senior - Centerville, OH / Centerville HS

Heaton had a record-setting performance vs. Ball State, establishing MAC, Miami and pool marks in BOTH the one-and three-meter events. In the one-meter competition, he edged teammate Jimmy Beres with a score of 385.20 (Beres had 384.10), breaking Heaton's own MAC mark. In the three-meter event, Chris scored a spectacular 422.55. The performance came during Senior Day at Miami's Nixon Aquatic Center, with his parents in attendance.

 

Additional Men’s Nominations

Chris Krupa ? Ball State

Freshman - Indianapolis, Ind./Pike

Placed first in the 100 fly (51.33) and second in the 200 fly (1:55.66). Krupa's 100 fly time was the fastest of his career and the best time for a BSU swimmer this season. It also ranks as the third-fastest time among all league swimers this season.
