The Western Michigan men's tennis team defeated Northern Illinois, 7-0, on Saturday afternoon at Sorensen Courts to wrap up a second-straight undefeated Mid-American Conference regular season championship. The Broncos (18-7, 5-0 MAC) set a new MAC record with their 20th conference title, breaking a 19-19 tie with Ball State.
The Broncos will defend their title this weekend at the MAC championship hosted by Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Ill. WMU, along with No. 2 seed Ball State, earned first round byes. For complete tournament information, click here.
