Meixner put together consistent rounds of 72-75-72 to finish alone in third place at three-over par at the Lady Buckeye Invitational. Her performance led Kent State to its second tournament title of the year as the Golden Flashes defeated host Ohio State by a whopping 28 strokes. Meixner’s final round 72 was one of only two scores of par or better on the day and helped her to her fifth top 10 finish of the year.

Led the Rockets by tying for 18th place at the Lady Buckeye Invitational. She carded the team's best three rounds of the tournament.

Senior Catherin Fortin led the team yet again at the Lady Buckeye Invitational, as she scored a 236 (77-83-76) and tied for 22nd. In 112 career rounds Fortin is averaging an EMU record 76.8 strokes, including a career-best 74.8 strokes during the 2007-08 campaign. As a team, EMU closed out the regular season finishing in seventh place after totaling a 950 (312-328-310) for the three rounds.
