Senior Robyn Scott (Auckland, New Zealand-Westlake Girls-Texas Tech Univ.) continued her solid play with a fourth place showing with a four-over par 148 (69-79). The finish was Scott's fourth career top-five finish in 21 all-time events. Good things happen to those that wait. After day one was a wash with poor weather conditions, the Eastern Michigan University women's golf team finally got to hit the course at Otter Creek Golf Club, finishing as the runner-up at the Indiana Invitational. Originally a 54-hole event, the tournament was scaled back to 36 holes with most of the play coming on Tuesday. Major delays due to thunderstorms in the area allowed players to get through less than nine holes on Monday. EMU posted rounds of 306 and 309 to finish with a score of 615. Louisville took the team title with a score of 593, followed by EMU, Illinois (619) and the host Hoosiers (622).

Junior Hanna Ek posted her best finish so far this spring, carding a 7-over 151 to finish tied for sixth place. Ek carded rounds of 77 (+5) and 74 (+2).

Bailey Arnold, Bowling Green

Spring Challenge Cup (vs. Ohio)
Falcon freshman Bailey Arnold won two of the three matches in which she participated last weekend as Bowling Green fell to Ohio in the annual Spring Challenge Cup match-play event, ten points to two. In her lone individual match, Arnold defeated Ohio's Megan Weaver by the score of 3 & 2. On Saturday, Arnold teamed with Lauren Glew to win their alternate-shot foursome match with Jordan Fesh and Megan Weaver, 4 & 3.

Senior Michelle Hui tied for ninth place to lead the Rockets at 18-over par 234 (76-81-77) at the Pinehurst Challenge.

Kaylee Imel, Western Michigan

76-80 (156, t-19th)
Kaylee Imel was the Broncos' low individual, tying for 19th. Imel's opening round score of 76 led the Western Michigan golf team's efforts on Monday and Tuesday. Her opening round was highlighted by a birdie on the 350-yard par-4 17th hole. She also strung together pars on nine of her first 12 holes to start the tournament.
