Andrea de la Garza, Central Michigan

De la Garza had a pair of great performance last week. She opened the week by posting three career highs to lead CMU's comeback victory at New Hampshire. Her career highs helped her post victories on vault with a 9.925 and the all-around with a 39.400, and take second on bars with a 9.875. Her score on vault matches the top score posted in the MAC this season while her bars scored is tied for second-best and her all-around score is third-best. In CMU's victory over Bowling Green, de la Garza posted four top three finishes, finishing behind a teammate in all four events. She was second on bars (9.825) and in the all-around (39.150) while taking third on beam (9.750) and floor (9.850). Her score on floor was a career-high. For the week, she finished in the top five in all 10 events and was top three seven times. She scored at least a 9.725 on every event and averaged a score of 9.82.

Ashley Guerra, Northern Illinois

In the 2011 State of Illinois Classic Championships, a quadrangular meet featuring NIU, No. 16 Illinois, Illinois State and Illinois-Chicago, NIU junior Ashley Guerra posted a career best 9.800 on balance beam and tied her season high with a 9.825 on uneven parallel bars to help lead NIU to a second-place finish in the team race. Northern Illinois scored its highest team score in two seasons with a 194.025, with Guerra tying for fourth place on bars and tying for eighth on balance beam. Guerra earned a 9.825 for the second time this season on bars. Her previous high score on beam was a 9.725.
Kasey Fillmore, Bowling Green

Kasey Fillmore set a season-best 38.525 in the all-around in a loss at Central Michigan. The senior scored a 9.600 on vault, 9.650 on bars, 9.600 on beam and 9.675 on floor.
Alyssa Wilson, Central Michigan
Freshman, Rossville, Ga. (Ridgeland)
Wilson posted a pair of steller bar routines last week. She won bars against Bowling Green with a 9.850. She also set her career high on the event with a 9.875 at New Hampshire, which was tied for second overall. Her 9.875 is tied for the second-highest score in the MAC this season.
Grace Crouch, Eastern Michigan
Senior, Bellbrook, Ohio (Bellbrook)
Senior Grace Crouch hit a career-best mark on the balance beam, as her 9.775 was good for fifth overall in the competition.
Nikole Viltz, Eastern Michigan
Senior, Hawthorn Woods, Ill. (Carmel)
Nikole Viltz finished first on the vault in a three-way tie recording a 9.800. At her final meet at Eastern Michigan the senior recorded a career-high 9.825 on the balance beam earning her a third place finish and a 9.650 on the floor exercise finishing in ninth place overall in the competition.
Rachel Guida, Kent State

Guida enjoyed a career day, posting personal best scores by tying for second on the uneven bars with a 9.825 and fourth on the vault with a 9.775 as No. 23 Kent State defeated Eastern Michigan, 194.900-194.025 Saturday (March 12) in its regular season finale.
Christina Lenny, Kent State
Senior, Broadview Heights, Ohio (Brecksville-Broadview Heights)
Lenny was the meet's lone all-around competitor in Kent State's 194.900-194.025 victory at Eastern Michigan Saturday (March 12), posting an overall point total of 39.225. She won on the balance beam with a career-best score of 9.925, which tied for her sixth all-time in Kent State history. She also tied for first place on the vault with a score of 9.800 and tied for second on the uneven bars with a score of 9.825. Lenny currently ranks 15th in the nation in the all-around with a regional qualifying score of 39.240 and tied for 10th on the vault with an RQS of 9.895.
Holly Reichard, Northern Illinois
Senior, Palatine, Ill. (Fremd)
In the 2011 State of Illinois Classic Championships, a quadrangular meet featuring NIU, No. 16 Illinois, Illinois State and Illinois-Chicago, NIU senior Holly Reichard earned her highest all-around score since the 2009 MAC Championships to take fourth place behind three gymnasts from No. 16 Illinois. She scored a 39 or higher for the third time this season in leading NIU to a second place finish in the meet and its highest team score since 2009. Reichard's score of 9.850 on uneven bars earned her All-State honors and was the top score of her career. Her matching 9.850 on beam also tied for third and tied for her career-best score, originally set her freshman season in 2008.
