Amanda Cecere, Ohio
RS Junior, Chelmsford, Mass. (Chelmsford)
The redshirt junior from Chelmsford, Massachusetts had an exceptional week winning six different events and placing second in another. The Co-Captain of the Bobcats displayed her versatility by wining the 100 freestyle, 200 Individual Medley and 200 Freestyle Relay in a 132-87 victory over Conference USA member Marshall. She then followed with victories in the 400 Medley Relay, 200 Butterfly and 500 Freestyle versus MAC Conference rival Akron. While Cecere was not bested by any opposing competitor last week, her lone second place tally was in the 400 Freestyle Relay when her teammates touched the wall just ahead of her relay team yet ahead of visiting Akron. Cecere's 100 freestyle, 200 IM, 200 butterfly and 500 freestyle were all season bests for the two time All-MAC selection.
