MAC Announces Men's Tennis Academic All-MAC Team

Cleveland, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference (MAC) announced the 2010 Men's Tennis Academic All-MAC Team as voted by the league Faculty Athletic Representatives with seven student-athletes named.

Heading the list was Northern Illinois' senior Javier Bernabe, a three-time Academic All-MAC selection.  Conference champion Western Michigan placed four honorees as juniors Michael Calderone, Casey Cullen, Kazuya Komada and sophomore Pablo Olivarez, were all named from the Broncos squad.  The junior trio of Calderone, Cullen and Komada are all repeat honorees from the 2009 Academic All-MAC squad.

Ball State sophomore Cliff Morrison and Toledo's Knot Likitkumchorn round out the 2010 Academic All-MAC team.  Likitkumchorn is a repeat honoree from last year's squad as well.

Nominees must have a minimum 3.20 cumulative grade point average to be eligible for the team.
